[Japan] GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) and GMO Payment Service (GMO-PS),“Atokara,” a post-payment service operated by GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG), GMO Payment Service (GMO-PS), and Sumitomo Mitsui Card (all based in Tokyo, Japan), began offering the “Samsung Galaxy Special Plan” on August 3, 2026. Under this plan, customers can make installment payments of up to 36 installments with no customer fees at Galaxy Harajuku and Galaxy Studio Osaka, both operated by Samsung Electronics Japan Co., Ltd.

When making a purchase, customers who choose Installment Payments of 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 24, 30, or 36 will be charged an effective annual rate of 0.00%.
“Atokara” is a deferred payment service that allows buyers to pay via Convenience Store Cash Payment, bank transfer, or direct debit after they have purchased and received their items. When shopping via apps or e-commerce sites, users can complete transactions using only their “mobile phone number” and “email address” without having to enter credit card information.
