[Japan] Rakuten Card will begin accepting applications and issuing the new “Rakuten Card: Attack on Titan Colossal Titan Design” card—part of its collaboration with the TV anime “Attack on Titan”—starting at 10:00 AM on August 17, 2026.
On August 5, the company unveiled the card’s design on the “Rakuten Card: Attack on Titan Design” page of its website. The design is characterized by its depiction of the Colossal Titan’s overwhelming presence and sense of despair on the card’s face.
This marks the third collaboration between *Attack on Titan* and the company for card designs. Previously, two designs were issued: the “Rakuten Card: Attack on Titan Eren & Levi Design” and the “Rakuten Card: Attack on Titan Survey Corps Emblem Design”; this new card is the latest addition to the series.
In line with the standard features of “Rakuten Card,” this card offers benefits such as a permanently waived annual fee, 1 Rakuten Point awarded for every 100 yen spent, and triple points when used on “Rakuten Ichiba.”Additionally, in the “Rakuten Card App,” turning on “Card Design Mode” displays a large image of the card’s design on the screen. Members who already hold a “Rakuten Card” can also apply for this card as their second “Rakuten Card.”
Furthermore, during the three-day “Rakuten AI Optimism” event held at Pacifico Yokohama from August 5 to 7, a life-size sample of the card was displayed at the “Fintech” booth, alongside a large panel depicting an Ultra Giant, measuring approximately 5 meters wide and 3 meters high.
