[Japan] Money Forward Kessai, a group company of Money Forward, has partnered with Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS for its “Money Forward Invoice Card Payment” service and began accepting American Express-branded cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS on August 4, 2026.
Through this partnership, the range of supported card brands for “Money Forward Invoice Card Payment” has expanded, and the service has begun accepting American Express-branded cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos. This broadens the range of payment options for business-to-business settlements and supports more flexible cash flow management.
Until now, “Money Forward Invoice Card Payment” supported three brands—“Visa,” “Mastercard,” and “JCB”—but had received strong requests to add American Express.In fact, a survey conducted by the company revealed that the American Express card ownership rate stood at 52.2%, indicating strong demand for this brand in business-to-business payments.
With the addition of American Express-branded cards issued by Mitsubishi UFJ NICOS to the lineup, companies using these cards can now utilize “Money Forward Invoice Card Payment” with the cards they already own, facilitating smoother payments and improving cash flow management.
