LINE Yahoo has launched the “Shopping Lens” feature within the “Shopping” agent of its AI agent “Agent i,” which allows users to search for products using photos. In addition, the company has added agents for three new categories—“Weather Outfits,” “Zubatoku Navi,” and “Beauty & Health”—bringing the total number of category agents in “Agent i” to 25 (including beta versions).

“Shopping Lens” is a feature that uses AI to suggest the same or similar products based on items in front of you or photos saved on your smartphone. Even if you don’t know the product name, you can find the item you want without having to type anything.
Suggested products are displayed in a catalog format, organized by product. Since the stores that carry the item and their prices are shown together, users can compare multiple options. Additionally, users can narrow down their search by answering follow-up questions, making it easier to find products and retailers that meet their needs.
Supported categories include home appliances, furniture and home decor, fashion apparel, and general merchandise, with plans to expand the range gradually in the future.
