LINE Yahoo has launched a special page on its “Yahoo! Online Donations” platform to support areas affected by the Reiwa 8 Kumamoto Earthquake. The special page is accepting emergency disaster relief donations for organizations working to support victims of the disaster.
Donors can choose from “PayPay (PayPay Money, PayPay Points, PayPay Credit),” “credit card,” or “V Points.” Donations via “PayPay” can be made starting from 1 yen or 1 point; credit card donations start at 100 yen; and V Point donations start at 1 point.
“Yahoo! Online Donations” is a service launched in response to the 2004 Niigata Chuetsu Earthquake that allows users to easily make donations online. It offers two types of programs: “Emergency Disaster Donations,” which accept donations for major disasters both in Japan and abroad, and a program where organizations such as NPOs solicit donations.
