The first dance-themed collaboration event between the TV anime “The Apothecary’s Musings” and Tokyo City View (52nd floor, Mori Tower, Roppongi Hills, Minato Ward, Tokyo), titled “TV Anime ‘The Apothecary’s Musings’ × Tokyo City View: A Fantastical World Woven by Dance —The Melody of Dance Resonating in the Sky—,” will be held from August 1 to October 26, 2026. A media preview was held on July 31, featuring an opening ceremony with guest Ryotaro Suga of the comedy duo Panther, who is a fan of the series.
The theme of the event is “Night Sky” × “Dance.” Taking advantage of the breathtaking panoramic views from “Tokyo City View”—a popular observation deck in Tokyo located 250 meters above sea level—the exhibition uses special staging to depict the fantastical dance scenes woven by Mao Mao, Jin Shi, and others.
Additionally, the event offers an unprecedented, immersive experience that envelops visitors in the world of the series alongside the breathtaking scenery—featuring the Mao Mao statue, making its Japan debut, and a theater area screening a special video themed around the dance of Loulan.
A key feature of the event is the use of TVS REGZA displays to create a fantastical atmosphere. Against the backdrop of the city’s stunning scenery, the main display reportedly showcases “Miao Miao’s Dance,” a pivotal scene from the series.
Furthermore, the beautiful yet ephemeral “Dance of Loulan” was depicted on a massive scale using three screens and four projectors to bring its world to life.
The TV anime *The Apothecary’s Tale*, which began airing in October 2023, has resonated deeply with audiences not only for Nekomeko’s spirited heroine persona but also for its authentic mystery elements and the human dramas woven into its exotic, otherworldly setting.Furthermore, it has garnered a strong response through various collaborations and events that extend beyond the scope of the series itself, earning support from a wide range of audiences. The third season of the TV anime is set to air starting in October 2026, and the series’ first theatrical release is scheduled for December 11.
