HashPort will provide a feature within “MoreAct,” a social contribution promotion service offered by MoreAct—a wholly owned subsidiary of Kansai Electric Power—that allowsallowing users to exchange “NORM Points” earned through the service for the Japanese yen stablecoin “JPYC,” hold and manage them via the HashPort Wallet, and then utilize them on DeFi platforms. This service launched on July 30, 2026.

Through this partnership, users can exchange NORM points earned within MoreAct for JPYC on the Polygon chain and manage them as digital assets that can also be utilized in the DeFi space via the HashPort Wallet.
Users can exchange NORM points earned by completing “missions” and other activities within MoreAct for JPYC, a Japanese yen-pegged stablecoin. While MoreAct already allows users to exchange accumulated NORM points for various digital gift cards, JPYC has now been added as a new exchange option. The exchanged JPYC is issued on the Polygon chain by JPYC, and users can hold and manage it themselves via the HashPort Wallet.
The exchanged JPYC can be connected to various DeFi platforms via the HashPort Wallet. This allows users to utilize the points they’ve earned through social contribution activities as digital assets within the Web3 ecosystem.
MoreAct is a service that connects individual consumers with companies, organizations, and local governments working to solve various social issues, thereby fostering greater awareness of social contribution and encouraging behavioral change among consumers.A key feature of the service is that points earned by completing “missions”—which serve as proof of actions that promote social contribution—can be exchanged for various gifts, allowing users to make social contribution a habit while enjoying a game-like experience.
In Japan, the social implementation of new payment and asset management systems utilizing blockchain technology is progressing, including the official launch of the yen-pegged stablecoin “JPYC” in 2025.Against this backdrop, the company says that by adding JPYC as a redemption option for points, it is providing users with the choice to utilize the results of their social contribution activities as versatile, practical digital assets.
This partnership represents an effort to bridge the Web2-style points experience with the Web3-style digital asset ecosystem. By converting points earned through social contribution activities into practical digital assets in the form of a stablecoin, the company aims to make Web3 more accessible to users.
