Sumitomo Mitsui Card announced that it will sponsor the “Cashless Payment System Project” at the 2027 International Horticultural Exposition (hereinafter: “GREEN×EXPO 2027”) as a Silver Partner.
GREEN×EXPO 2027 is an international horticultural exposition to be held in Kamisaya, Yokohama, from March 19 to September 26, 2027.
By participating in the “Cashless Payment System Project” at GREEN×EXPO 2027 and providing payment terminals, the company will enable fully cashless payment operations within the venue. This will allow visitors from both Japan and abroad to use cashless payment methods.
We will provide the “stera terminal standard (JT-C60)” and “mobile terminal (UT-P11)”—all-in-one payment terminals capable of handling a wide range of payment methods, including international brand cards, e-money, and code-based payments—at the GREEN×EXPO 2027 venue.As a result, the event will offer approximately 60 different payment methods—one of the largest selections in Japan—enabling smooth cashless transactions throughout the GREEN×EXPO 2027 venue.
