Ceres, the operator of the rewards site “Moppy,” announced on July 28, 2026, that it will be collecting donations for the July 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake from July 29 to September 30, 2026, to support those affected by the major earthquake centered in the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture,through Moppy Points. The company states that donations from the public will be calculated at a rate of 1 point = 1 yen, and the full amount will be delivered to the victims via the Japanese Red Cross Society. Users can participate in the fundraising campaign with as little as 1 point.
Ceres will cover all transaction fees.
