[Japan] REVOLUT TECHNOLOGIES JAPAN (Tokyo, Japan), which provides “Revolut”—a global digital financial service used by over 75 million people worldwide—in Japan, announced on July 31, 2026, thatbegan offering “ChatGPT Go” to individual users of Revolut’s paid plans. The service is available free of charge for 12 months for Metal Plan users, 6 months for Premium Plan users, and 3 months for Standard Plan users (as part of a promotion).
Thanks to a collaboration between the Revolut Group and OpenAI, “ChatGPT Go” has been added as a partner benefit for Revolut paid plan users. Starting that day, users can access the service for up to 12 months at no additional cost, depending on their plan (for Metal Plan users).
Currently, ChatGPT is used by approximately 1 billion people weekly in a variety of contexts. Furthermore, as AI becomes deeply integrated into how people work and manage their daily tasks, there is reportedly a growing need to utilize AI tools without worrying about usage limits as much as possible.
Revolut paid plan users can use “ChatGPT Go” to enjoy expanded usage limits, upload more files, and utilize features such as document analysis, image generation, and memory functionality. Furthermore, unlike the free version of ChatGPT, there are no restrictions, allowing users to make full use of the AI.The launch of “ChatGPT Go” coincides with the release of OpenAI’s “GPT 5.6” series.
