Digital Garage has begun offering a bill payment by credit card feature (BIPS) as part of “Kyoto FG with DX Connect Gate,” a digital solution for corporate customers provided by Kyoto Bank.

This initiative is reportedly positioned as a new financial service model designed to strengthen support for corporate customers’ digital transformation (DX) at regional financial institutions.
For small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region, lingering manual processes in invoice processing and payment operations, as well as operational inefficiencies caused by silos between systems, remain significant challenges. Furthermore, in terms of cash flow management, there is a strong reliance on bank loans, and there is a growing need for more flexible and rapid funding options. To address these challenges, Digital Garage’s B2B payment platform will be integrated into “Kyoto FG with DX Connect Gate,” a service provided by Kyoto Bank. This integration is said to enable “streamlined invoice management,” “digitization of payments,” and “diversification of payment methods = cash flow DX.”
Credit card payments will allow companies to flexibly control their payment timing, thereby stabilizing cash flow. Furthermore, payments to business partners that do not accept credit cards will be made via bank transfer in the company’s name. Additionally, using credit cards enables companies to take advantage of point rewards and cashback programs.
“Kyoto FG SeamlessLink” is described as a corporate platform that digitally streamlines the entire process from invoice receipt to payment through three services: “Kyoto FG with DX Connect Gate,” “Kyoto FG with Bakuraku,” and “Kyoto FG Invoice & Payment BOX” (scheduled to launch in August).
Furthermore, “DGFT Invoice Card Payment” enables companies to switch from bank transfers to credit card payments for invoices from business partners that do not accept card payments. This not only improves operational efficiency through credit card usage but also resolves cash flow issues by effectively deferring payment due dates.
